The Role
As a Staff Security Engineer, you will play a central role in designing and securing core systems across the platform.
You will:
- Design and secure infrastructure and application architecture across distributed systems
- Build and enforce secure-by-default development practices across the SDLC
- Lead threat modelling for new products, including blockchain integrations and asset flows
- Act as an incident leader during critical security events
- Own cryptography and key management standards, including secure signing systems
- Partner closely with engineering and product to embed security at every layer.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years securing large-scale distributed systems
- Strong experience with cloud-native environments (Kubernetes, microservices, networking)
- Deep understanding of secure architecture and system design
- Hands-on with CI/CD security, tooling, and automation
- Proven experience handling high-severity incidents in production
- Strong knowledge of cryptography and key management
- Ability to operate at Staff level, influencing systems and teams
