The Role
Backend-first, pre-enterprise build. You will own the application layer, designing systems that power vaults, yield, and integrations, translating on-chain activity into reliable backend infrastructure.
Working closely with smart contract engineers, you will turn Solidity events and state into scalable APIs, indexing services, and data pipelines.
- Build backend systems (Node.js, Go, Python).
- Own APIs and partner integrations.
- Develop indexing / middleware for on-chain data.
- Design high-performance data models and pipelines.
- AI-native workflow (Codex, Claude, Cursor) to accelerate build speed.
The Candidate
5+ years backend experience in production environments, with strong system design capability across APIs, distributed systems, and data pipelines.
- Experience working with Solidity / EVM environments.
- Background in DeFi, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
- Strong PostgreSQL, Redis, and cloud experience (AWS/GCP, Docker).
- Comfortable in pre-enterprise environments with high ownership.
