Axiom is seeking a Senior Python Engineer - Data Platform (Remote) for a leading blockchain company.
This is a remote role and we are flexible with considering applications from anywhere in Europe.
An ambitious technology company in the Web3 space is searching for a seasoned engineer to help evolve and scale its backend and data capabilities.
Your Day-to-Day
- Connect and sync with various networks and protocols (blockchain exp ideal but not essential)
- Build scalable backend components and services for large datasets
- Design reliable data pipelines and maintain internal data systems
- Collaborate with product and engineering to create new features end-to-end
Skills & Background
- Min 8 yrs Python engineering background
- Fluent SQL for performance at scale
- Strong background in relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL)
- Comfortable working in Linux environments and with modern Python APIs (e.g. FastAPI, Flask)
- Able to thrive in an async, distributed environment with clear communication
- Experience with stream/batch processing frameworks (Kafka, Spark, Flink, etc.)
- Exposure to columnar/analytical databases like ClickHouse
- Familiarity with infrastructure tooling (Docker, K8s, Terraform, Ansible)
