Axiom is partnering with a leading UAE Bank, building out their DeFi and Stablecoin Infrastructure for future growth and wider blockchain-related deployment.
We are in search of a Security Lead & Architect to define and lead their on-chain security architecture.
This is an amazing opportunity to join a major bank at the very start of its decentralised finance journey. Helping define their 0-1 banking infrastructure and take the reins in designing secure systems that scale globally.
**This is a UAE-based position where my client will pay for the full family relocation.
The Role
You’ll collaborate across teams to implement modern security approaches, including zero-trust principles, robust key management, and scalable cryptographic frameworks.
- Define and improve security for wallets, DeFi, and APIs.
- Lead threat modelling and secure architecture reviews.
- Oversee key management, data protection, and secure dev practices.
- Drive adoption of advanced privacy tech (e.g. zk-SNARKs, MPC).
- Act as the technical lead during audits, incidents, and reviews.
- 10+ years in cybersecurity or security architecture.
- 3+ years in blockchain/Web3 security.
- Strong understanding of smart contracts, wallets, and cloud security.
- Experienced in securing financial systems like DeFi and Fintech.
- Skilled at communicating security concepts to both engineers and executives.
- Knowledge of account abstraction, zk-rollups, bridges, and compliance standards.
- Experienced in Cryptography architecture.
