Build the operational backbone of the next generation of on-chain asset management.
Axiom is hiring a Vault Operations Lead for an early-stage digital asset platform operating at the intersection of DeFi, tokenisation, RWA yield, and institutional finance.
This is a hands-on operational role for someone who has managed live on-chain capital, executed high-value transactions, worked with multi-sig approvals, and understands the discipline required to run financial infrastructure safely, accurately, and at speed.
The Company
Our client is building next-generation financial infrastructure that connects digital assets with institutional-grade yield opportunities.
The platform gives users access to professionally managed on-chain products across areas such as tokenised assets, lending, structured yield, and capital-efficient DeFi strategies.
Backed by experienced operators from fintech, blockchain, and capital markets, the team is building the operational and technical foundations for a new category of on-chain asset management.
The Role
You will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of live vault products, ensuring capital is deployed efficiently, transactions are executed accurately, liquidity is managed properly, and operational risk is tightly controlled.
This is a high-responsibility role where precision matters. You will sit close to product, engineering, ecosystem partners, issuers, and service providers, helping ensure the platform runs smoothly as it scales.
Key Responsibilities
Own daily vault operations across deposits, redemptions, liquidity movements, and capital allocation.
- Execute and monitor on-chain transactions, ensuring accuracy, settlement, and issue resolution.
- Manage rebalancing activity, liquidity thresholds, vault parameters, and operational workflows.
- Review transaction details, wallet addresses, approvals, counterparties, and smart contract interactions before execution.
- Work with multi-sig wallets and institutional-grade approval processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams, issuers, tokenisers, custodians, and protocol partners.
- Build and improve SOPs, runbooks, checklists, controls, and post-incident review processes.
- Support operational reporting, audit readiness, and ongoing process improvement.
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in DeFi operations, vault operations, lending protocol operations, crypto fund operations, or on-chain treasury management.
- Hands-on experience executing and managing live on-chain transactions involving real funds.
- Strong understanding of vault mechanics, yield strategies, token standards, mint/redeem flows, NAV/APY, and DeFi risk.
- Experience with multi-sig wallets, transaction approvals, wallet security, and operational controls.
- Strong risk mindset, with the ability to verify addresses, amounts, approvals, counterparties, and transaction logic before signing.
- High attention to detail and the confidence to operate in a live financial environment.
- Strong process discipline, including experience building SOPs, runbooks, checklists, and operational controls.
- Ability to work autonomously in a small, fast-moving distributed team.
Strong Bonus
- Experience helping build an operations function from zero.
- Background in crypto funds, DeFi protocols, RWA platforms, asset management, fund administration, treasury, or middle office.
- Exposure to tokenised assets, RWAs, private credit, stablecoins, staking, liquid staking, or structured yield products.
- Experience working directly with issuers, tokenisers, custodians, market makers, or protocol partners.
