We’re hiring a Staff Security Engineer to help secure the infrastructure powering the next generation of global financial systems.
This is a rare opportunity to work at the intersection of fintech, digital assets, DevSecOps, and AppSec, securing systems responsible for the movement, custody, settlement, and protection of real-world value at scale.
The Company
Join a market-leading digital asset infrastructure firm trusted by banks, financial institutions, and enterprise partners globally.
The company operates critical financial rails for tokenisation, payments, custody, and onchain settlement, enabling secure movement of digital assets across modern financial ecosystems.
This is a highly scaled, regulated environment where security, resilience, and operational integrity are core to the platform.
The Role
As a Staff Security Engineer, you will help architect and secure mission-critical systems across cloud infrastructure, distributed platforms, and digital asset workflows.
You will:
- Design and secure large-scale infrastructure and application architectures.
- Drive DevSecOps and secure-by-default engineering practices across the SDLC.
- Lead AppSec initiatives across payments, blockchain integrations, and asset transfer systems.
- Own security strategy for cryptographic systems, key management, and secure signing infrastructure.
- Act as a senior incident leader during high-severity security events.
- Partner closely with platform, infrastructure, and product engineering teams to embed security across the stack.
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years securing complex distributed systems.
- Strong background in DevSecOps, AppSec, cloud-native infrastructure, and production security.
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, networking, microservices, and secure systems architecture.
- Experience building security automation across CI/CD environments.
- Proven track record managing critical incidents in high-availability production systems.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, key management, and secure transaction systems.
- Ability to operate at Staff level, influencing engineering standards and technical direction.
Why This Role
- Work on high-value, real-world financial systems
- Solve complex security problems across modern tech stacks
- Be part of a top-tier engineering environment
- Direct impact on the next generation of financial infrastructure
