Axiom is hiring a Senior Solidity / Smart Contracts Engineer for a first-of-its-kind perpetuals exchange. We're a stealth-mode startup building a new financial primitive in crypto by directly leveraging yield, and you'll have the chance to help shape the next generation of decentralized finance.
This is a unique opportunity to build core functionality from the ground up, working closely with a small, elite team to launch a high-leverage MVP. You'll operate as a founding engineer, with huge scope for ownership and impact.
What You'll Do
- Build smart contracts primarily in Solidity with a focus on core functionality.
- Develop and launch a live vault on Hyperliquid to generate revenue.
- Work hands-on with Central Limit Order Books (CLOBs) and DeFi vaults.
- Gain real-world experience with LayerZero's new Omnichain Fungible Token (OFT) tech for cross-chain liquidity, including HyperEVM and Hyper-Ethereum.
- Design and build off-chain tools, SDKs, and other utilities.
Who You Are
- Strong Solidity and smart contract development experience is essential.
- Hands-on experience with Central Limit Order Books (CLOBs) and DeFi vaults.
- Experience working at a perpetuals exchange or a similar innovative DeFi project.
- Solid understanding of DeFi protocols and mechanics.
- Familiar with Git, CI/CD, and smart contract standards.
