We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join a foundational team building the core infrastructure to bridge traditional financial systems with stablecoins.
My client's platform grants established institutions direct mastery over stablecoin flows, with embedded oversight, transparency, and security. This isn't just another decentralized finance protocol; this venture is deeply embedding stablecoins into the very heart of conventional finance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Pioneer architectural vision and lead implementation for backend services governing financial liquidity, regulatory adherence, and transactional pathways, focused on stablecoin mechanics.
- Deliver impeccably tested TypeScript code and strategically evolve the system's architecture to achieve hyper-scalability.
- Engage in intensive collaboration with the co-founders on every facet, from sculpting intuitive API experiences to integrating with legacy banking frameworks.
- Engineer solutions prioritizing absolute precision, comprehensive real-time monitoring, and complete auditability to support multi-billion dollar volumes.
- Significantly influence the nascent engineering culture and play a crucial role in early talent acquisition.
- Over five years of backend engineering experience, ideally within high-uptime systems in fintech, the decentralized finance space, or traditional banking.
- Mastery of TypeScript.
- Prior involvement with financial compliance architectures or managing stablecoin or fiat liquidity pools.
- A demonstrated history of architecting and scaling robust technical infrastructure from the ground up.
- Thrives amidst technical ambiguity and is galvanized by the unique challenges of building at the early stage.
- Proven capability in a remote-first organizational setting, including exceptional communication and a knack for cultivating distributed team cohesion.
- Beneficial experience: Familiarity with NestJS, functional programming paradigms, cloud infrastructure (e.g., Google Cloud), or operating within heavily regulated financial environments.
