This organisation is developing a next-generation Layer-1 chain with a focus on real-world use.
Backed by a supportive ecosystem, they operate with a high degree of independence and are building a senior technical team to shape the platform, drive adoption, and deliver a smooth, user-friendly Web3 experience.
The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and very engineering-focused. The team aims to create the basics needed for easy onboarding, secure key management, and smooth integration for businesses using Web3 for the first time.
What We’re Hiring
We’re looking for a Senior Protocol Engineer with strong experience in blockchain internals and distributed systems, working across the full protocol stack.
- Design and build a high-performance sovereign L1 chain.
- Develop core systems across consensus, networking, and VM layers.
- Create SDKs, middleware, and tools for developers and ecosystem growth.
- Support integration of DeFi products and partner applications.
- Contribute to wallets, mobile UX, onboarding flows, and broader ecosystem foundations.
- 5+ years in blockchain, protocol engineering, or distributed systems.
- Experience with Avalanche, EVM, or similar L1 architectures.
- Strong knowledge of consensus, networking, and VM internals.
- Solid understanding of cryptography, decentralised systems, and security.
- Proven track record shipping production-grade, high-performance software.
- Comfortable in early-stage, high-autonomy environments with a passion for real-world blockchain solutions.
- Experience launching a blockchain or wallet product
- Leadership or mentoring experience
