Principal Engineer – Fintech, Stablecoins, Payments
Axiom Recruit is hiring for a senior technical leader Principal Engineer, to help shape the next wave of financial infrastructure, from modern payment rails to AI-driven workflows and secure, scalable systems. It’s a high-impact role suited to someone who enjoys working at the crossroads of blockchain, fintech, and complex distributed architectures.

What We Require From You
- 8+ years building solutions as a software engineer
- Strong backend engineering (TypeScript/ Node.js stack)
- Must have a strong fintech/banking background and atleast 2 years in the blockchain space
- You will own architectural decisions and collaborate with senior leadership.
- Background in payments or stablecoins is a big bonus
- Nice to Have - Rust or Golang is a bonus
- Nice to have - leadership experience as this role could evolve to an engineering manager
- 100% remote leadership role - Salary + bonus
- Security - Highly funded project with an aim for 100M funding in total.
- Lead architecture for real financial infrastructure, not prototypes.
- Career Growth- This role can evolve to an engineering management position
