Axiom Recruit is hiring a Lead AI Engineer for a Y Combinator-funded unicorn to help build next-generation AI systems for Legal Operations in New York.
As a Lead AI Engineer, you’ll lead the development of advanced AI systems powering intelligent enterprise workflows and next-generation AI applications. Working closely with leadership, you’ll help build scalable AI infrastructure and production-ready LLM solutions.
We are hiring Lead AI Engineers and Senior AI Fullstack Engineers
What You'll Do
- Work directly with the founders who have over 10 years in legal tech.
- Lead the architecture and development of AI-powered applications and autonomous agent systems.
- Build scalable LLM systems using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
- Design AI systems combining orchestration layers, retrieval pipelines, and backend infrastructure.
- Drive experimentation across OpenAI, Anthropic, and emerging foundation models.
What You'll Bring
- 8+ years of software engineering experience mainly in Python.
- 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience building LLM powered applications.
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar frameworks.
- Strong technical background across Python, SQL/Postgres, cloud infrastructure, and scalable systems.
