Own the entire HR function. Shape how a fast-growing institutional crypto business scales. Work remotely with direct access to senior leadership.
Axiom is looking for an experienced HR Specialist to take ownership of the complete HR function for a growing, internationally operating digital assets business.
This is more than maintaining processes and managing paperwork. It’s an opportunity to build, lead and improve HR operations with the autonomy to make decisions, the responsibility to get things right, and the chance to make a genuine impact from day one.
If you're someone who thrives on ownership, enjoys solving problems and wants the freedom to build effective HR processes, this could be the right opportunity for you.
The Company
Our client operates at the intersection of institutional finance and digital assets, connecting traditional finance with stablecoins and blockchain infrastructure through a single platform.
With a strong regulatory focus, an AI-native culture and Series A funding behind its growth, the business is entering an exciting phase of expansion.
It's a lean, ambitious team where decisions happen quickly, ownership matters and the right people can make a real impact.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Group COO, you'll take full responsibility for the HR function across a multi-entity international organisation, supporting approximately 45+ employees and contractors across Switzerland, the UK, Malta and Mauritius.
- Work directly with senior leadership with the autonomy to shape the HR function.
- Build and improve HR processes to support business growth.
- Manage international employment, social insurance and HR policies.
- Own the full employee lifecycle, from contracts and payroll to performance and compliance.
What You'll Own
- Maintain HR governance, data protection, equity records and people reporting to support business growth.
- Drive performance management, objective-setting and employee accountability.
- Coordinate international employment, remote-working arrangements and Employer of Record relationships.
- Oversee Swiss payroll, social insurance, pensions, benefits and employment compliance.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding and offboarding.
- Build and lead the HR function, establishing scalable policies, processes and systems.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced HR generalist or HR operations professional who combines strong technical knowledge with the initiative to operate independently.
- 5+ years of HR generalist or operations experience, including 2+ years managing HR independently.
- Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law and regulations.
- Hands-on experience with payroll, social insurance, pensions and work permits.
- Proven ability to build HR policies, processes, systems and documentation.
- Confident managing contracts, onboarding, offboarding and employee compliance.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with availability to overlap with Central European Time.
The Opportunity
- Attractive Salary aligned with your experience and expertise.
- Equity Participation to share in the company’s long-term growth.
- Real Autonomy to build and lead the HR function.
- Direct Leadership Access with close collaboration with founders and senior decision-makers.
- High-Growth, AI-Native Environment at an ambitious Series A digital assets company.
- Remote Flexibility within the EU, with substantial overlap with Central European Time.
If you're ready to take full ownership of HR in a fast-moving, international environment, this is an opportunity to put your experience to work where it can make a real difference.
