We're partnering with a growing international fintech business looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join its engineering team.

The Opportunity
You'll join a collaborative engineering team developing and maintaining scalable, cloud-based applications.

The role is backend-focused (approximately 70% backend / 30% frontend), giving you the opportunity to work across the stack while solving interesting backend engineering challenges.
You'll have the autonomy to influence technical decisions, contribute to architecture, and take ownership of features throughout their lifecycle.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
- Take ownership of features from design and development through deployment and production.
- Improve the performance, reliability, and scalability of existing systems.
- Work with cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term engineering improvements.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Previous software engineering experience within a fintech company.
- Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining production applications.
- Solid backend engineering skills, ideally with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern frontend technologies, preferably React.
- Practical experience working with AWS, GCP or Azure.
- Good understanding of APIs, software architecture, testing and deployment practices.
- The ability to independently solve technical problems and take ownership of engineering deliverables.
Experience with alternative backend technologies such as Java, Go or Python is also valuable. Strong engineering fundamentals and production experience matter more than matching every technology perfectly.
