The Role
The Backend Engineering team builds and operates the high-performance systems powering a modern digital payments platform.
Engineers work across APIs, distributed systems, transaction routing, settlement infrastructure, and backend services focused on scalability, security, and reliability. This is a highly technical role building low-latency infrastructure designed to operate at global scale while supporting complex financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend APIs and payment infrastructure.
- Develop systems for transaction routing, settlement, and asset flows.
- Improve platform reliability, scalability, and user experience.
- Contribute to system architecture, design reviews, and incident response.
- Write clean, tested code and support engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience using TypeScript, Go, or Rust.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and databases.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong computer science and systems design fundamentals.
- Background in payments, fintech, or high-transaction platforms.
