Axiom is hiring for a top Web3-native investment group focused on AI and crypto. They're looking for an AI Research Lead to strengthen their ideas, grow key relationships, and boost their impact across the space.
This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role in emerging tech. You'll help guide how the firm thinks about what's next in AI and crypto, influencing ideas, tools, and direction along the way.
The Role
You'll be part of a small team exploring new ideas and building in a fast-moving space. This isn't just research, you'll be hands-on and closely involved across the ecosystem.
- Shape thinking around emerging trends, especially where AI and crypto converge.
- Build strong networks across projects, people, and communities.
- Make sense of new ideas and technologies with a practical lens.
- Help refine how the team works and makes decisions through smarter tools.
- Be a visible presence in the space, from conversations to contributions.
- Background in navigating complex spaces like AI or crypto.
- Familiar with fast-evolving tools, systems, and use cases.
- Aware of how things move — whether in markets, products, or communities.
- Thinks clearly, moves quickly, and gets the nuances.
- Communicates well and knows what good looks like.
Bonus if you bring:
- Experience from a crypto VC, AI startup, or frontier fund.
- A solid network within AI/ML research or builder communities.
